Lots of vegan options, and health foods not usually found outside of fresh markets. I liked the prices and the sale organic fruit! Nice people to help me, keep up the good work guys.
I just want to start by saying I understand I'm going to a grocery store for lunch. I didn't really have high expectations to begin but I went to the deli today for a chicken tender sub. Danny was my sandwich artist. It. Was. Bomb!! I asked him to toss the chicken in Buffalo sauce. Which he did to perfection. Then when I requested green pepper, he diced them up and MIXED THEM INTO THE BUFFALO CHICKEN BAG!!!. Pro move indeed. I was thoroughly impressed. Danny might have made the best sub I've had at publix yet.
S,o my review is that you need to RETRAIN your employees on who needs to be taken care of and that you don't stop in the middle of what you're doing to go and talk with fellow employees about non-work related issues that are off the clock...
Oh, Yes I Was On My Lunch Break and It Was 11 am... No Other Customers at the deli & Im Having A Great Day...
I shopped here this week and brought home 3 boxes of pasta that had bugs in them. I called the store to warn them and I was told to put the pasta in my freezer to kill the bugs... yuck!
So as my first time visiting this Publix and going to the deli to retrieve a 6-inch buffalo chicken sub, I decided that I needed to go ahead and leave because after I spoke with the lady at the deli counter and she proceeded to make my sub, an off work employee in regular clothes that I previously saw speaking with other employees as I was going to the deli started speaking with the lady that was making my sandwich. Which in turn distracted her enough that she stopped making my sandwich and went to the deli counter to lean over and speak with the off-duty employee.
I live close to this store and I have had very good experiences there. I find most of the employees very helpful and they usually have packers and will give you help out to your car. I am in Pennsylvania right now and I cannot believe what it is like to shop here. No packers, no carry out, I feel like I am on another planet! People seem to complain about things that I cannot blame on the store. I have always had great help here and right now I miss it. When you visit a store with no service, you really appreciaate this in Cape Coral. Always been treated well here.
