This Salon is a joke. I could have hacked up my daughters hair at home and still have my $45.00 dollars.

I moved from Miami 2 years ago and Red Salon was recommended to me. I was cutting my hair a significant amount and needed a place I could trust. I'm so glad I was referred here! I really value that they offer evening appointments which is is great for those that work past 5pm. My first cut was fabulous and since then I've been to both locations in Cape Coral and Fort Myers, tried multiple stylists and have had my hair cut, cut, done up, and colored. I trust this salon and my stylist Stella completely! So much so that I did my first color treatment EVER with Stella and LOVE it! She recommend a balayage and it was the perfect way to introduce change to my look and need for something low maintenance. My hair looks naturally sunkissed, just what I was going for. Stella understands my hair texture and always makes great recommendations for cuts and products. She is well experienced and open to new techniques and trends. I recommend Stella and the salon overall!

Then at check out the stylist tried to sell me products that she didn't even use on my daughters hair. I understand that hair product makes the world go round. I understand that a very small population of the world doesn't need product to have model worthy hair and I also understand that myself and my daughters are not apart of that hair model population. But hey, if you want to sell me a product that I can buy off of Amazon for $10 less dollars how about you actually use it.

Fantastic place! Debbie did my hair today and she was awesome, super friendly, and I love the way my hair turned out! Definitely coming back here next time!

I have visited Red Salon on and off for the last few years and the place has really gone down hill. The Cape location is in desperate need of a deep clean. I had highlights and a cut done two weeks ago and paid over $200 (which I felt was a reasonable amount for the service I was looking to have done) and I absolutely HATE the cut. Somehow when I said "I would like a trim because I am trying to grow my hair out" the stylist heard "please cut my hair above my shoulders and give me super choppy layers with some pieces above my ears". I am 100% okay with spending serious cash for a quality hair cut but this was not the case.

Kimberly was GREAT! She was informative, professional, and did amazing job on my hair. Very refreshing :)

My oldest daughter had hair down to her wing bones on my back. I explained that I did not under any circumstance want her hair above her collarbone.... Guess who's hair is above her shoulders now?

Fast forward to yesterday when I took my daughters in for a hair cut (my husband begged me to go anywhere else and even suggested Fantastic Sam's over Reds). I figured who can screw up a simple kids cut, actually just a trim to get rid of some split ends. My middle daughters hair is okay. Basically what I expected, no drastic change. I was annoyed that I specifically said that she did not want bangs and the woman cut them anyway but I tried giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe the hair around her face was extra damaged and needed it.

Have been here a few times and the hair cuts were fine on most of those visits except for my last visit the two stylists I usually go to were not available, I requested someone that was really good with long difficult hair, specifically so I would get a good stylist, the woman I spoke to on the phone highly recommended a girl that took almost 2 hours to cut my hair, completely ruined it so that the next day an actual professional apologized for how bad the cut was and ended up having to cut my hair very short to fix it, the stylist then told me that the girl who cut my hair was brand new, I requested an expert and I got someone brand new who destroyed my hair worse than a $5 barber shop, also one other time I had to wait over 20 minutes for my stylist past the time we were scheduled, I left after 20 mins because they kept telling me to wait another 10 minutes and by the last time they said it to me, it would have been at least 30 mins past our scheduled time. Based on my experience here it has been a 50/50 shot of if it will be a decent experience through and through, however I have not stuck with a particular stylist every time, I am sure there are a few good ones there but definitely not all of them.
