Hmmm.. I never have reviewed a chain restaurant like Denny's before, and I doubt I ever will again. You know what to expect from Denny's, so no need to describe the food. It was what you expect, and no problems at all. So why five stars and a review... well... We had one of the best servers ever. Maya took excellent care of my wife and I during our meal. She was cheerful and always smiling. Right there on the spot with everything we needed. People like her make dining out, even at a Denny's, an unexpectedly enjoyable experience.
Friday, Nov 17: 1 minute to be seated, 2.5 minutes until drink was served, 10 minutrs until food order by was served. Huge improvement, attentive food staff. Only gripe was "spicy" skillet just had huge glob of spicy paste smeared over half of it. Thanks, but no thanks. Keep your be spicy sauce be in a bottle for me to decide how be much I want.
Had an issue with my server because I wanted to substitute bacon for a slice of ham. The server Luisa looked at me like if I was asking her for something out of this world. She came across very rude. She said I was not able to do that at all. I told her that was impossible because I always eat at Dennys and I always substitute the bacon. The bottom line is we never got our ham. The bacon that was given to us looked so bad that I can imagine anybody eating that. The pancakes were not made like they should have been. At the end all we ate was the eggs with the hash brown. We never even got a glass of water. Our whole breakfast was very disappointing and our server is horrible at customer service. We will not be eating at this Denny's again.
Good food, good quick service, clean eating place, and the prices were reasonable.
Friday, Nov 10:I watched my food sit on the counter for 10 minutes before the server brought it to me. She said it was not 10 minutes.
Great place for hungry people to satisfy their hungry appetite, anytime of the day or night.
