We were out of town buyers and Chris devoted a lot of time to us when we were in town, not just showing us properties, but showing us the area (what we should and should not be interested in). Some realtors sell real estate. Chris brought a lot of additional expertise to the table, including help in negotiating and presenting our offer. He continues to be a trusted resource when we need a contractor and he has even checked on our property a couple of times when we had no one else in town that could. Just the other day we needed a plumber and Chris was our first call. He has always gone above and beyond for us and we highly recommend Chris Shaw and Vista Key Real Estate.

Chris Shaw spent a great deal of time showing me a variety of properties that met my criteria (even though my criteria evolved as I learned more about the area). I appreciate the time he spent with me up front going over a very detailed map and explaining the pros and cons of purchasing in specific areas. When the offer was made, I did truly feel that Chris was an advocate for me - which differs from some other experiences I have had with realtors. I would highly recommend Chris for your real estate purchasing needs.
My experience with Vista Key Real Estate involved them representing the seller of a home I purchased. On the final walk through of the home their agent was seen on the side of the house by the AC unit and on our arrival he entered through the back of the home to greet us at the front door. My family conducting the walkthrough thought the house a little warm but assumed that the AC was probably turned up since the residence was not occupied. The following day a lawn service that I had inspecting the property for an estimate called to say that the AC was making a loud noise. I went by and found that the AC was not working and the AC thermostat had been turned off. Clearly the agent had known there was a problem with the AC but had not disclosed it. I consider this unethical behavior on his part.
