Always a pleasure to mail anything I have at this post office. This is the best location in the whole area. Love all of the staff!!
I like the staff at this post office. But for some reason we can not keep getting previous persons mail which I have complained about numerous times. Post Master took copy of mail from previous person and took our name only to be mailed to our address. Yet today, I get our next door neighbors mail and someone even further down the road. People need to change their addresses as well and DMV here needs to do something as well!! Here in Florida someone can put your address down and claim they live at your place. Never put outgoing mail in mailbox with flag up...too many thieves.
Rudest staff I've ever come across. Asked for a simple thing and just got attitude.
Workers are wonderful but! sending and receiving mail is awful. I have had a few packages & Letters not get to destination and on top of that not returned back to me and as of now, a package for me was going to be delivered yesterday, checked mail not there. Checked tracking to see what happened and as of this morning, it is still at post office but there is now a delay with no further info. That package is part of my work. So to me, this is not acceptable. Happening way to often at this location. And I'm hearing this from quite a few of my neighbors as well. They need to be inspected a little more and monitored better to see whats going on.
Postal delivery person never makes an attempt to deliver any packages that require a signature ie. Certified letters. Every letter (many) she has only left "sorry we missed you" slip. Some occasions she hasn't even left those, and items were returned to sender. Not only that she is constantly putting my mail in my neighbor box even though the apt is clearly marked. I have complained to the 9th Ave post office, but they don't seem to care! Local phone must be off hook...never able to get through.. national number given never has less than 45 minute hold wait...What lousy service....USPS!
