Brought my 93 Trans am for an engine swap (my low compression lt1 to a rebuilt performance - built LT1) i informed them it was an upgraded engine. I didn't get i my car back for THREE MONTHS. They told me at MOST two weeks when i brought it in. I paid for insurance during these 3 months and a rental car/asking family and friends for rides during this time. And when i got it back? It wasn't even fixed and they charged me full price. They claimed it was the head gaskets in my engine (that they were put on backwards somehow?) and wanted to charge an extra $1000+. Wasn't the issue at all. (brought it to a real automotive place. ) It needed a bigger fuel pump and bigger fuel injectors to compeanate for the new power for it to run right, (Im not a car expert and didn't know this. ) Guess they aren't either. Maybe bring your car here for simple stock jobs, but regardless, they'll always make sure they come out on top. They took no responsibility for the inconvenience and took advantage of me. Only good thing i got out of this is that i know I'm not going back there and to be more selective of where i choose to take my car. I was very patient with these guys and never yelled at these guys either. Even when i had to call 5 times to get a hold of them to get an update on my car when i hadn't heard from them in 5 weeks.
Do not waste your time and money they will rip you off. They didn't fix my brothers car. They changed the engine and sent it back to us with a still broken car. He took advantage of a young kid with Cancer. Who does that? Whatt a piece of work.
Andre Rios Auto Repair and Body Shop is the only place I will let anyone work on my car. Talk about good honest people! These guys not only do fantastic work, but they will never charge you more than what the job is worth. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else and I am really happy that I have a great mechanic that I can always depend on.
I have brought my car here many times and they are always friendly and honest. They never charge you for what you don't need and are always willing to work with your budget. I wouldn't change my mechanic for anything, this is the place to go for any car problems! really recommend it!
