Came here because my friends said it was nice. Even though I've lived in the Cape for 3 years, I never ventured here. I am regretting not coming sooner.
Wonderful water front place to enjoy a meal, snack or cocktail. Best view in Cape Coral, relaxed atmosphere, live music at lunch, delicious food, fun menu. On Cape Coral beach, so beach wear friendly. Easy docking, protected for our boat. Will be back.
This is a place I will never return. Great view, and that's about it. I ordered a chicken biscuit with no cheese or pickle, it came out with both. I requested to have gravy put on my biscuit instead of being on the side, they refused to do this most simple request choosing instead to place it on the side wasting a plastic bowl, since they use plastic throw away plates. The chicken was burnt and the server said it was supposed to be that way, burnt is not the way I enjoy my food. She's lucky my wife left the tip. The worst of all was the manager came up and asked how the food was and as I begun to tell him how horrible it was he instantly responded with great, so I said obviously he didn't listen to anything I just said and he responded by laughing. Luckily I was able to restrain myself from responding how I would've liked. Never will I return. I highly recommend choosing one of the other lovely places in cape coral instead of this dump.
I got here just in time for the sunset. The ocean breeze was perfect. I sat right on the half table thing that goes around the edge of the patio. Couldn't have asked for a more scenic or picturesque moment while eating dinner.
The negatives that took away one star: 1) appetizers are same price as the burgers/meal. 2) Service was a little inconsistent; My friend had to go to the bar to order his second drink. Getting the initial order of drinks was quick, but waiting for her to return took some time.
All these good reviews I'm going for breakfast this morning. My buddy has nice position in that place and I've worked food service for 4 years of my life. Can't wait to see what he makes.
I didn't have food here, so no promises. But everything seemed pretty okay. Great friendly service.
Absolutely wonderful experience as far as ambiance and the view. Loved the live acoustic music too.
Some more positives: the waitress was nice and our orders were accurate. The Famous Boathouse Burger was delicious and well seasoned.
This place is exactly as it should be. Decent tiki drinks. Not reinventing anything here, but good.
